Gold for Godzilla.
There’s no questioning the performance and potential of the Nissan GT-R. The R35-generation is a tuner’s dream with the ability to break through time and space with its twin-turbocharged, all-wheel drive layout. Although performance is the hallmark, style is right behind and this R1 Motorsports GT-R with Brixton Forged WR5 Targa Series wheels is a dazzler.
This Matte Blue Nissan GT-R stands out from the crowd thanks to its unique finish as well as its array of carbon fiber aerodynamics from front to rear. But the piece that ties it all together is the set of Brixton Forged WR5 Targa Series wheels.
The three-piece wheels have a low overall weight due to the forged aluminum alloy construction and backpad pocketing. Each wheel also features a concave depth that is emphasized at the rear with a deeper, wider setup.
Contrast is the name of the game with the Brixton Forged WR5 Targa Series wheels thanks to their Olympic Bronze color. The face of each wheel features a 120-grit brushed finish covered in a matte clear coat while the lips have a smoother 600-grit finish in a gloss clear coat. Exposed titanium hardware adds even more complexity to the extravagantly styled forged wheels.
For this application, R1 Motorsports installed the stunning Brixton Forged WR5 Targa Series wheels in a staggered 10.0 x 21 front and 12.0 x 21 rear setup. The mighty 21-inch diameter perfectly fill in the massive fenders with a clean, flush setup.
Although the Nissan GT-R is known for its performance, this Godzilla with Brixton Forged WR5 Targa Series wheels in Matte Blue by R1 Motorsports is an absolute show-stopper.
