PUR Wheels has been at the forefront when it comes to innovative performance and styling, and their newest wheel is another example of their forward-thinking. The PUR RS13.M2 is designed particularly for Porsche enthusiasts and utilizes an innovative construction to create the impression of a monoblock wheel.
The PUR RS13.M2 however, is a two-piece forged wheel, not a monoblock wheel. It may appear as through the five-spoke wheel is made from a single piece of forged 6061-T6 forged aluminum alloy, but it is actually constructed from two pieces. The face and outer component of the RS13.M2 is a single piece that is attached to a forged inner piece through hidden hardware to create a clean monoblock appearance. This allows for a variety of widths and sizes to be used for the same face.
The PUR RS13.M2 wheels and their classic five-spoke sculpted design also boast a special center-locking mechanism to accommodate the more hardcore Porsche sports car like this featured 911 GT3.
The featured 991 Porsche 911 GT3 is not your average sports car, as it was designed to take the checkered flag on the race track. On this application, the PUR RS13.M2 wheels were installed in a wide 9.0 x 21 front and 12.0 x 21 rear setup with the center-locking mechanism to keep weight to a minimum. A stunning Brilliant Silver with Polished finish proudly contrasts the factory paint and captures attention with its seamless two-piece construction and blind hardware.
The new PUR RS13.M2 wheels can be built to accommodate a number of Porsche vehicles and also with the center-locking adapter mechanism.
