Cutting weight with a new pair of shoes.
It’s not hard for the new F32 BMW 4-Series to make a statement by itself whether it’s on the street or the track, but the team at Vorsteiner has made an impact with the German coupe. It was the perfect platform for their newest flow forged V-FF 103 wheels that have an innovative approach to cutting weight and keeping strength without breaking the bank.
The new Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheels use an innovative flow forging manufacturing process that uses rollers to create the barrel of the wheel in a streamlined direction. This equates to a stronger molecular structure compared to cast wheels and is an average 25-percent lighter, while being less expensive than traditional forged wheels. The superb strength-to-weight ratio also complies with the VIA & JWL safety certification.
The 300-horsepower, BMW 435i gets even sportier thanks to the new Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheel fitment. The flow forged wheels were installed in an 8.5 x 20 front and 10.0 x 20 rear setup with a carbon graphite finish. The standard profile front wheels wear grippy Pirelli P Zero tires in a 245/30/20 size while the concaved rear profile wheels wear the same tires in a 275/30/20 setup. Adding to the coupe’s overall performance is the fact that the front Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheels tip the scales at just 21.4 lbs., each while the rears come in at 22.0 lbs. even.
With their low weight and concave fitment, these Vorsteiner V-FF 103 flow forged wheels were the perfect match for the BMW 435i.
