The new Ferrari LaFerrari is going to be quite the car. It’s loaded with new, advanced technology and a high-performance hybrid powertrain that makes triple-digit speeds come in the blink of an eye. Recently, AutoBILD, the German car magazine, asked DMC Exotic Car Tuning to create a rendering of the new Italian hypercar that took its design to the next level. The aftermarket supercar specialists proudly took up the task and drew upon the heritage with exclusive performance-oriented Ferrari variants such as the GTOs, XX, and FXXes to create the new Ferrari LaFerrari FXXR.

The design team at DMC wanted to create a program for the LaFerrari that was clearly more performance-oriented but still retained that unique Ferrari DNA. They utilized advanced aerodynamic components along with a generous use of the classic Rosso red bodywork to make performance-focused design that had Italian blood pulsing through its veins.

The face of the Ferrari LaFerrari FXXR is clearly different and more aggressive after the conversion in the renderings. The factory center and lower horizontal fins were removed and replaced with new V-shaped carbon fiber air intakes that match the lines of the sharp angles on the hood. The outside intakes in this area are angled differently to redirect more cool air into the brakes while vertical fins help to improve high-speed stability along with new canards along the outside. Vents are featured on the outside of the bumper, by the headlights, and by the windshield, which are now in black to contrast the Rosso red bodywork.

Vents, vents, and intakes are featured throughout the sides of the DMC LaFerrari FXXR. On top of the hypercar is a new air intake that sucks air into the engine bay while a yellow windshield graphic proudly displays the hybrid hypercar’s name. The upward-opening doors gain black inserts and numerous air intakes and vents. The rear panel features one of these vents to help dissipate heat while an air intake helps to suck in cool air for the braking system. Just in front of this intake sits a new fin that helps redirect more cool air into the channel and draws in more cool air the faster the LaFerrari FXXR travels. A set of black cross-spoke wheels with center-locking mechanism completes the side profile of the hypercar.

Sitting at the rear is a large, carbon fiber adjustable wing that works in conjunction with two black winglets behind the side windows that improve the effectiveness of the wing even further at high speeds. The entire rear section of the car almost completely blacked out along with the taillights and new matte black exhaust tips. Sitting beneath is a large diffuser that helps keep the LaFerrar FXXR’s butt planted to the ground.

The DMC Ferrari LaFerrari FXXR was originally created as a concept rendering but the aftermarket company might make it past the design stage and find its way onto a few of the 499 Ferrari LaFerrari models. Keep your eyes peeled.
