The mighty BMW M6 grand tourer is a thing of pure power as it glides along in luxury. Its sleek design and width give it a commanding presence, even over the standard 6-Series coupes. The team at Fostla wanted to take things to the next level so they took an F13 BMW M6 Coupe, designed a slick wrap, and added on some Hamann Motorsport goodies to create a blue brute.
The twin-turbocharged, 4.4-liter V-8 engine already packs a punch, but it also packs quite a bit of potential – potential that Fostla was able to tap into thanks to a Hamann Motorsport auxiliary control unit. The new software tune and axle-back exhaust system with silver-treated tailpipe bezels lends to a brawny 650 horsepower from 6,000 to 7,000 RPM and 627 lb-ft. of torque from 1,500 to 5,750 RPM.
After the considerable upgrade under the hood, the BMW M6 was made to showcase the power visually. Fostla installed a full Hamann ‘Mirr6r’ widebody kit that includes new front and rear bumpers, front and rear fender extensions, carbon fiber aerodynamic hood, side skirts, central rear bezel, and three-piece rear spoiler wing for more downforce and stability.
The more aggressive and larger fender flares required a larger set of wheels to be installed for a clean, flush fitment. So, Fostla fitted a set of Hamann Motorsport one-piece Anniversary Evo alloy wheels in a hyper black finish and concave design to eliminate any gap left beneath the fender.
The final touch that Fostla made to complete the BMW M6 project was the installation of their own custom-designed wrap. For the M6, they chose a full blue chrome matte wrap that highlights the numerous curves on the Hamann Motorsport Mirr6r body kit. Each window was also given a dark tint to add a more sinister look.
