Come on, man!
The iconic Top Gear automotive television show has been the subject of serious controversy with the sacking of Jeremy Clarkson and the departure of James May, Richard Hammond, and other producers and staff. As a big effort to save the show, Sabine Schmitz and Chris Harris were brought in along with presenter, Chris Evans.
Out of the three new stars, Evans is the one with the least amount of automotive experience, having hosted numerous television and radio programs – none of which were automotive-based. That’s not a bad thing at all, either.
But during a recent filming of an upcoming Top Gear episode, Evans’ lack of high-speed and hard-cornering experience showed.
While co-host, Sabine Schmitz, was driving an Audi R8 V10 with Evans in the passenger seat, she was forced to pull over so that he could throw up.
While the new cast of characters has some real potential, it looks like one of them will have some work to do to live up to the previous trio’s hype.
