We’ve seen this chain of events happen so many times over, and over, and over, and over again, and it will continue to happen as long as idiots have access to fast cars: its cars crashing while leaving car shows.
This incident in Tucson, Arizona, was one that we’ve seen before and rightfully deserves the ‘Friday FAIL’ tag. This Chevrolet Corvette Z06 driver decided to roast some tires and then stomp on the throttle while leaving a car show in front of a crowd. The Corvette Z06, however, is a seriously powerful car that can be difficult to control, and this driver lost it while accelerating.
This resulted in the Corvette sliding down the roadway and into a tree, which we all know, don’t move for cars.
The Corvette Z06 was easily totaled, and police were right there on hand to make sure the driver was uninjured before arresting them.
This is just another reason why you don’t try to show off at car shows.
