Texting and driving is never a good idea.
One of the more dangerous things to do behind the wheel of your vehicle is texting. Today’s population is addicted to mobile devices and the need to use them and communicate often extends to those who are driving. It’s incredibly distracting and dangerous, and so preventable that it’s mind-boggling that more of these accidents aren’t prevented. If you text and drive, you could end up like this idiot on Friday FAIL.
In Ft. Myers Florida, Michael Woody, Jr. just had to be on his phone while driving at night. His texts were so important that he failed to realize that there was a police officer behind him, following every erratic move he made. While driving the car, the 23-year-old Woody swerved, braked for no reason, and drifted all over before finally going off road, hitting a tree, and flipping over.
Luckily, Woody was able to escape from his vehicle. The officer following him thought that his driving was so bad that they said “It looked like someone had a heart attack behind the wheel.”
Let this be a lesson. Please don’t text and drive, folks.
