If you’re wondering why there are so many car shows being cancelled around the globe, it’s because of idiots that try to show off and put others in danger. This Shelby Mustang GT500 driver is just another example of someone trying to display their driving skill and car’s power, and paying the price (along with others).
While at a car show, the driver of the 662-horsepower muscle car decided that they needed to show off by mashing the throttle and leaving smoke and tire marks behind. Unfortunately, the driver was not able to handle the insane amount of power (as happens all too often), and begins to oversteer.
After failing to regain control, the Shelby Mustang GT500 slid right into the back of a RAM truck before coming to a rest when it hit a New Edge Mustang.
According to the video uploader, none of the airbags deployed in the Shelby Mustang GT500 and the driver had to be taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Owning a car is a privilege and it comes with quite a bit of responsibility. Car shows are for admiring automobiles, not for putting others in danger because you have to show off. Please, don’t be stupid and ruin things for others by acting like this.
