This will get you a few stars.
Grant Theft Auto V has enjoyed incredible success since it was released. Heck, even our staff here has been playing the heck out of the video game. Thankfully, the game is fictional and you’re likely to never see the same explicit scenes play out in real life. Well, unless you were a cab driver in Chicago.
On Belmont Ave. in Chicago, the driver of a stolen Nissan Murano hit a taxi. So, like any other motorist, the driver got out and attempted to get the information from the Nissan driver. Turns out, the driver was a real Moron-O and refused to get out. The taxi driver confronted the criminal, who then attempted to flee the scene by backing up and going around. When that failed, the Nissan driver went into full-on Grand Theft Auto mode by hitting not one, not two, not even three, but FIVE cars, including the taxi that he hit again and a used car going on a test drive, before driving away.
According to DNAinfo Chicago, the driver is in custody for stealing the SUV and hitting five cars. The cab driver, on the other hand, is still with the company, but was disciplined for confronting the driver. The Toyota Camry taxi had more than $3,000 worth of damage and the driver was forced to pay the $500 insurance deductable, and will be missing a week’s worth of work due to the damage.
Big FAIL on you, Mr. Criminal, whose name might as well be Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, or Trevor Phillips.
