Oh the humanity!
The Pagani Zonda is one of those ultra-rare super cars that you most likely will never see in person, so when somebody crashes one, it’s a sad, sad day in the automotive world. That’s exactly how we felt when we saw this Pagani Zonda crash in Hong Kong.
Now it should be common sense that a super car such as this should be handled with care. It takes a skillful hand to tame and it’s meant to be pushed to its limit on the track, not the street. The Zonda F is powered by a 7.3-liter AMG V-12 engine with 594 horsepower and 560 lb-ft. of torque. Plus, it’s rear-wheel drive, which makes it a tad bit trickier to control when the throttle is on the floor.
This Pagani Zonda F was owned by the CEO of Dolce & Gabbana. Reportedly, the driver had lost control, hit a tree, and then a traffic light. Thankfully the driver was able to walk away without any injuries from the Pagani Zonda crash. It will, however, be a VERY expensive repair bill due to the cracked carbon fiber tub. After all, Pagani has repaired cars with more damage than this, so it will most likely not be totaled.
Please, next time you’re in a hurry or want to show off, be smart about it, especially if you’re driving a Pagani Zonda F.
