That’s not supposed to happen.
In the world of sports cars, power is almost always a good thing. It’s hard to think of examples when it’s bad to have too much other than not being able to handle it on the track. Even then, a car can excel at the hands of a skilled driver with the proper equipment.
This week’s Friday FAIL tells the unfortunate story of one muscle car owner who had just too much power. After turning onto a street through an intersection, the muscle car driver decides to smash the throttle only to have their car violently start to buck up and down until they completely lose the rear axle.
It’s tough to watch for two reasons: the driver and passenger with their yelling and screaming make you want to rip your ears off; the destruction of a muscle car due to its sheer power is a bit sad to see.
Just make sure that you turn down your speakers before watching this. The driver and passenger can be quite annoying.
