The legend of the speedy Bristol Rabbit.
We’ve seen wildlife interrupt sporting events all over the globe and this rabbit at Bristol International Raceway in TN wanted to get its 15 minutes of fame at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice.
During the practice, a rabbit had wandered onto the track, causing officials to stop the trucks so that no harm would come to the furry critter. The only problem was that rabbits are very quick and nimble creatures that are not easy to catch.
NASCAR officials attempted to surround the rabbit and catch it in a bucket (yes, a bucket), to no avail. The rabbit repeatedly just ran past officials along the walls of the track.
Thankfully, the rabbit ran into the pits for new tires and out of harm’s way.
