Oh the humanity!
We hate seeing classic cars in accidents or get totaled, especially when it’s at the hands of a stupid driver. Now, just imagine that we’re talking about your car, specifically an Acura NSX, as it’s parked outside on the street minding its own business just looking pretty when WHAM! A Toyota Sienna slams into it and shoves it beneath the Subaru Impreza in front of it.
Well, that just happened. RIP NSX.
One Redditor was at work when he looked outside of his office window and saw this horrific scene. There, lying in the street were three bodies of Japanese cars with one having suffered some severe injuries after being murdered by another.
A woman in red was driving the Toyota Sienna that hit the NSX and the car had come to a stop after the impact. The driver was distraught and when another woman came to help, she panicked and hit the throttle, which caused the tires to lose traction and skid on the pavement.
According to Cerberus73, the photographer of the scene:
“That van smacked the NSX and drove it under the SUV Subaru ahead. The lady in red was trying to calm down the driver (woman, 40s) of the van, but the driver gunned it and started laying rubber. That’s the smoke. I was worried the lady in red was going to get run down, but she (I think) got the keys out.
Driver was majorly freaking out, spasming, and got a ride to the hospital. There was a 10-ish year old girl in the van, too…”
“Yeah, but she was just sitting there in the driver seat flapping her hands around initially. This lady in red walked up and opened her door and the driver gunned it. I was really afraid for a second that the lady in red was going to buy it. The van was clearly in gear, I think the NSX held the van in place and probably saved this woman from getting run down. If she’d put it in reverse and gunned it, she would have taken the helpful lady out with her door.”
And to top things off, the Policeman that responded to the accident had to have his Police cruiser towed as well.
It just wasn’t a good day on that street and one that will be remembered forever on Friday FAIL.
