Americans know how to build high-displacement, muscular cars unlike any other country on the globe (except for maybe Australia). The Dodge Viper goes against all of the trends of downsizing engines, hybrid drivetrains, and forced induction with its massive, fuel-gulping naturally-aspirated V-10 engine. GeigerCars, the American-tuning specialists in Germany, loves this dedication to going against the grain so they made it even better with some old-fashioned German engineering.
GeigerCars focused on power, handling, and aerodynamics with the American super snake. The 8.4-liter V-10 was given a healthy boost in power from its factory 640 horsepower, 600 lb-ft. output. This comes thanks to a newly modified airbox and a custom exhaust system featuring tubular headers and sport catalytic converters. A new ECU software remap helps to take advantage of the engines improved airflow and pushes it to 710 horsepower at 6,100 RPM and 635 lb-ft. of torque at 5,500 RPM, hence the ‘GiegerCars Dodge Viper GTS R710’ name.
With the added power, the Dodge Viper GTS R710 can accelerate to 62 mph from rest in just 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 211 mph.
The added power means that the tires and suspension have to work even harder. So, GeigerCars gave the Dodge Viper GTS R710 a new KW Variant 2 coilover suspension kit. The new upgrade lowers the ride height by 30 mm and offers 16-way adjustability to get the most out of the factory wheel and tire setup for a given track.
The finishing touch for the GeigerCars Dodge Viper GTS R710 is an in-house carbon fiber aerodynamic kit. The new kit includes a full front spoiler lip, rear spoiler, and rear apron insert with integrated diffuser made from lacquered carbon fiber to keep weight to a minimum.
The full GeigerCars Dodge Viper GTS R710 upgrade package is available as a complete program or as individual accessories. The performance tuning is priced at 11,900 euros, the KW Variant 2 coilovers are 4,700 euros, and the carbon fiber aerodynamics are available for 5,866 euros.
