There’s no question what the McLaren 570S is designed for in the Sport Series. There’s a dedication to performance and driving wrapped in an exotic, high-tech wrapper that’s at home on the track or the road. It strikes an optimum balance between the two, and Vorsteiner is taking performance to the next level with their new McLaren 570-VX Aero Program.
The new Vorsteiner McLaren 570-VX Aero Program isn’t your average dose of carbon fiber wings, splitters, diffusers, and body work; there’s a heavy dose of research and testing poured into the entire kit. The latest Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software testing was used to create a balanced level of downforce between the front and rear while also optimizing cooling and heat dissipation.
Each and every part of the Vorsteiner McLaren 570-VX Aero Program was also designed to optimize low- and high-pressure zones at the front and rear of the super car. By fine-tuning each pressure zone, more downforce can be created with greater efficiency, leading to better overall performance.
Up front, the British super car gains a new bumper that features dive planes extending outwards. These force air into the front radiators using a Venturi effect and also channel air upwards to generate downforce.
As air moves towards the rear, it’s met by a large fixed wing and bootlid. The large, intimidating wing spoiler is mounted directly to the chassis instead of the body work for greater stability. The wing is designed to sit at the same height as the roof so that air running across is quickly met by the wing to generate downforce.
Sitting below the massive wing is the new Vorsteiner McLaren 570-VX rear bumper and diffuser combo. The bumper features a more open design compared to the factory unit to allow for hot air to easily and quickly escape the engine bay. The diffuser and its deep channels keep airflow on a desired pathway to reduce turbulence and improve stability at high speeds.
