The Audi RS 5 sits at the top of the pack when it comes to performance in the Audi lineup. The high-revving, naturally-aspirated engine is the perfect way to lay down the power and the team at Senner Tuning has taken it all a step further in the name of performance.
The powerful Daytona Grey Audi RS 5 Coupe and its 4.2-liter V-8 FSI engine may not have the same tuning potential as its forced-fed siblings in the lineup, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less exciting. The 4.2-liter V-8 was outfitted with a higher-volume sports air filter system along with a new software ECU tune. These two upgrades are paired up with an in-house sports exhaust system with backpressure-optimized valve flap control system with three different modes that can be controlled on the MMI display on the dashboard. A pair of gloss black tailpipes finishes off the conversion. In all, these upgrades result in a total of 504 horsepower and 353 lb-ft. of torque.
Dynamics was the name of the game with the Senner Tuning Audi RS 5 Coupe. The entire chassis rides a bit lower and is adjustable thanks to a new Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilover setup while the DRC and RC functions were deactivated with the new installation. Putting all 504 horsepower on the road are new Competec C.01 three-piece wheels with a glossy black finish. The front axle wears the wheels in a 9.5 x 20 size with 2.5-inch lips while the rear comes in with a wide 10.5 x 20 setup with 3.5-inch lips. Continental Sport Contact 5P tires were fitted in a 255/30R20 front and 295/25R20 setup to claw away at the asphalt.
Not much was in store for the Audi RS 5 Coupe in terms of aerodynamics from Senner Tuning, but the German company did give the sports car a more unique and powerful look. The factory Daytona Grey paint is contrasted by sharp signal yellow highlights on the front bumper, rear diffuser, brake calipers, and side graphics. An OEM Audi appearance package was installed and various parts such as the rear diffuser, side mirrors, and Audi logos were painted black while the chrome window trims were painted in high-gloss black.
The new Senner Tuning Audi RS 5 Coupe conversion program can be performed for 23,550 Euros with all of the featured upgrades being available individually as well.
