This club is more than just rentals.
Supercar rental companies are popping up around the world to give people the opportunity to drive those high-end and exotic cars without paying the six- or seven-digit price tags. But the new Gran Superdrive membership club is so much more than your average rental service.
The new club was launched on Saturday, August 3rd and has already received an overwhelming amount of interest from the upper class in Singapore.
Gran Superdrive began with a total of 12 cars, with four of them being brand new, such as the Jaguar F-Type, Lotus Evora, and Porsche Boxster S. All 12 of the cars are owned by the company and backed by fleet insurance.
What separates Gran Superdrive from the rest of the exotic car rental services is the number of benefits offered to members. Starting at $10,000 SGD, benefits include a locked-in bonus of 60-percent of the membership fee, invitations to exclusive events around Singapore, networking opportunities, and a car concierge service, all in addition to the on-demand access to the fleet of cars.
The 60-percent bonus enables members to have more credits than their membership fee. For example, a $10,000 SGD member has a $16,000 SGD credit to use on the car fleet.
Many of the members of Gran Superdrive already own one or more high-end cars, and are in the market for a new model. The club gives members the opportunity to drive and experience new cars they may be interested in purchasing. Members also receive special rates and discounts for new and pre-owned supercars to purchase from dealers.
Gran Superdrive will initially limit membership to 100, but plans on expanding this figure along with the number of cars in their lineup in the future. As of now, the fleet features Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Maserati, and more.
