British luxury with German brawn.
The Range Rover Sport is a capable luxury SUV in and of itself and does have a somewhat commanding presence on the road. It’s a big and powerful SUV that’s more than able to hold its own on- or off-road. Hamann Motorsport however, wanted to transform it into an intimidating presence on the pavement and did so with tasteful upgrades that don’t come off as gaudy or brash.
Keeping with the new, modern design language of the Range Rover lineup was a goal for Hamann’s design team. The entire body kit may be more powerful and dynamic, but it doesn’t take away from the SUV’s factory styling and sleek lines that make it stand out from the crowd.
The new Hamann Motorsport Range Rover Sport is bolder and more dynamic thanks to the new widebody kit. Up front, the transformation starts with a bipartite front spoiler that incorporates the factory design language while an additional set of fiber optic daytime running lights pair up with the factory fog light setup.
The front and rear fenders of the Hamann Motorsport Range Rover Sport extend an additional 12 cm outwards to showcase the SUV’s muscle and power. The fenders seamlessly flow into the factory bodywork and are connected by a pair of side skirts. At the rear sits a composite trim panel and either black or silver anodized trapezoidal exhaust outlets.
While the newly-sculpted figure of the Hamann Motorsport Range Rover Sport impresses by itself, it wasn’t until the new forged wheels were installed that the SUV really dominated the asphalt. The extended fenders make room to accommodate a new set of Unique Forged Anodized wheels wearing a slick matte black finish. The massive 10.5 x 22 front and 11.0 x 23 wheels wear 305-size tires to add to the overall ride quality and dynamics on the road.
Inside, the same principle of enhancing the factory design without taking away from it has been carried over. The Hamann Motorsport Range Rover Sport was given new black anodized aluminum foot pedals and Hamann-designed floor mats decorate the floors while LED welcome lights with the Hamann logo illuminate the ground at night.
The new Hamann Motorsport Range Rover Sport is currently available as a complete program and can be installed at the company’s headquarters in Laupheim, Germany or international partner sites.
