Hennessey Performance made quite a stir with their HPE750 Ford Mustang that hit 207.9 mph with Jay Leno on hand. As part of the package, they’ve created the CarbonAero kit that adds all the downforce and aerodynamic optimization that the Hennessey-tuned American muscle car will ever need.
The HPE750 Supercharged upgrade for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT adds a new 2.9-liter supercharger, carbon fiber high-flow air induction system, carbon fiber coilpack covers, and upgraded fuel injectors and pump setup to the 5.0-liter V-8 engine. That, and some dyno and road testing along with all the right gaskets and fluids results in a whopping 774 bhp at 7,000 RPM and 648 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM. Performance is equally as impressive with the 0-60 mph sprint time taking just 3.4 seconds to complete and the quarter mile disappearing in 10.9 seconds at 133 mph.
Although the HPE750 Supercharged package for the Ford Mustang GT comes with special badges, headrests, plaques, and more, the real bonus is the CarbonAero package. The optional upgrade pack includes a new CarbonAero front splitter, side sills, and rear spoiler that all work together to generate downforce and optimize airflow for better high-speed performance.
Additionally, customers can purchase Hennessey Performance H10 lightweight wheels in 19- or 20-inch sizes, high-performance Brembo 15.1-inch front brakes, and a stainless steel exhaust system.
This all means that the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has some stiff competition. Only 50 models will be built for 2015, so you better hurry!
