Hennessey Performance has a long history with the Viper line. With the introduction of the new SRT Viper and Viper GTS, it was only a matter of time before the newest American supercar got a bit more venom in its bite. The new Hennessey Venom 700R is a high-powered monster that is eager to take on any track.
The new Hennessey Venom 700R packs all sorts of engine upgrades designed to unleash the power of the 8.4-liter, naturally-aspirated V-10 engine. A new K&N air filter helps to suck in more air efficiently, and into high-flow cylinder heads. Exhaust is spit out of stainless steel long tube headers, through high-flow catalytic converters, and out the remaining three-inch stainless steel piping erupting with a thunderous roar. After some chassis dyno and road testing for up to 100 miles, the mighty V-10 can produce a whopping 705 bhp at 6,400 RPM and 695 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM.
The added engine upgrades and power output makes the Hennessey Venom 700R even more potent in a straight line. The supercar is capable of accelerating to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and can do the ¼-mile sprint in 10.7 seconds at 134 mph. Top speed is pushed all the way back to 216 mph.
Also coming standard on the Hennessey Venom 700R are all the necessary gaskets and fluids, serial numbered dashboard and engine plaques, exterior badging, and premium floor mats. Customers also have a wide range of options such as the VenomAero carbon fiber front splitter, rear carbon fiber lip spoiler, rear racing wing, and front carbon fiber canards. Optional lightweight monoblock wheels, a Penske double-adjustable coilover system, rear differential cooler, and roll bar system work together to sharpen up handling for the Viper. Inside is an optional fire extinguisher, five-point harness with logos, carbon fiber trim, and other custom accessories.
The new Hennessey Venom 700R may not have the 1,000+ horsepower of its Venom 1000, but it’s the perfect all-around track monster that makes the SRT Viper and Viper GTS even better. The upgrade comes standard with a three-year/30,000-mile limited warranty.
