HPerformance Gives the Audi RS 6 Avant a Light Tune

HPerformance Audi RS 6 Avant

Just a bit of power to start things off.

The Audi RS 6 Avant is the perfect high-performance car for tuning companies. The car has it all from practicality to all-out power and is packed with a lot of potential thanks to its twin-turbocharged 4.0 TFSI engine. HPerformance has some big things planned for the RS 6 and it’s showing off a few goodies that will provide the basis for the future upgrades.

The 4.0 TFSI twin-turbocharged V-8 engine is one of the better engines for tuning companies because of its potential and ability to produce incredible amounts of power with some basic upgrades. HPerformance got things started by installing a new “sound by choice” exhaust system with two 70 mm pipes with integrated valves that can be controlled pneumatically or electronically through the in-car MMI system. An EEC-type approval variant is also available.

After the volume was turned up a notch, the HPerformance Audi RS 6 Avant was outfitted with a prototype carbon fiber air intake system that will soon be offered. An ECU reprogramming then boosts output all the way up to a total of 700 horsepower and 634 lb-ft. of torque.

HPerformance also has more fun upgrades on the horizon for the Audi RS 6. The German company will be offering a full exhaust system with downpipes as well as larger turbochargers in the near future that will help the super wagon produce even more power.

As of now, the exhaust system and ECU tune are currently available for the Audi RS 6 from HPerformance. The other aforementioned upgrades will be available soon, so be patient.
