Making a good thing even better.
The A-Class may not be the sportiest or most luxurious model in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be fun and exciting, as shown by the team at Inden Design. The German aftermarket tuner, specializing in Mercedes-Benz has made two A-Classes sportier and stylish with their new upgrade programs for the hatchback.
In one corner is the dark grey W 176 Mercedes-Benz A-Class equipped with a factory AMG styling and aerodynamic package. The AMG styling kit, featuring new front and rear bumpers as well as side skirts, was complemented by a new carbon fiber lip spoiler flap up front. The side skirts were also given a dose of carbon fiber as the original covers were replaced with the lightweight material. Beneath the AMG rear bumper sits a lightweight carbon fiber diffuser that makes room for the two protruding C 63 AMG Black Series tailpipes connected to a modified exhaust system. After the body work, Inden Design gave the dark grey Mercedes-Benz A-Class a new set of shoes as they installed BBS CH-R wheels in a 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 rear fitment with 255/35 R19 and 255/30 R19 performance tires.
In the opposite corner is the fiery red A-Class sibling. Just like the dark grey model, the red A-Class wears the same factory-installed AMG body kit with the Inden Design carbon fiber accents that stand out more with the red paint as opposed to the grey. Even the AMG Black Series tailpipes poking out from the carbon fiber diffuser were installed by the German tuner. The differences end there though. Inden Design modified the suspension so that the ride height is 35 mm lower for better handling dynamics. The factory wheels were also replaced with new Barracuda Shoxx wheels in a 9.0 x 19 fitment with 235/35 R19 performance tires for better grip.
All of the upgrades seen on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class models are available from Inden Design. They may not be the fastest, but they’ll certainly be fun.
