A little tune goes a long way.
The Audi RS3 is a hot and feisty hatchback that packs quite a punch. To showcase the untapped potential in the turbocharged five-cylinder engine, TIJ Power teamed up with JMS Tuning to produce a furious five-cylinder.
The 2.5-liter engine that produces 340 horsepower and 331 lb-ft. of torque in stock form gained a great deal of power thanks to the Audi RS3 tuning program put together by TIJ Power. The inline-five was given new charge air coolers, software optimization, and a handmade 76 mm stainless steel exhaust system. TIJ Power also installed Forge Motorsport silicone hoses and a blow-off spacer, bringing output up to 410 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. Currently, the German tuner is working on another upgrade with a bigger turbocharger to create 450 horsepower and 443 lb-ft. of torque.
In order to handle all of the power JMS Tuning and TIJ Power gave the Audi RS3 new suspension and wheel upgrades. New eMotion Strada wheels were installed in a 9 x 20 fitment and were given 235/30 front and 245/30 rear Continental ContiSport Contact tires for better grip. Behind the wheels sit modified brakes with braided lines and high-performance pads. To improve handling, new KW Clubsport coilovers were installed with uniball top mounts.
The JMS Tuning and TIJ Power Audi RS3 tuning program was built to showcase the capabilities and products offered by both German companies. All of the upgrades are currently available.
