The Land Rover Defender is the epitome of rugged, off-road capability that’s built to tackle any obstacle and overcome any type of terrain without a problem. The team at A Kahn Design has unveiled the Defender XS90 2.2 TDCI with the Chelsea Truck Company Wide Track kit that emphasizes the SUV’s capabilities while also adding a luxurious touch.
Keeping the rugged nature of the Land Rover Defender was important when designing the new upgrade program. Each of the extended front and rear wheel arches in satin black feature integrated vents and have exposed bolts to emphasize the durability and strength of the Defender. The front fascia gives the SUV more presence with its new diamond B6 LED headlights with mesh and front grille with Kahn badging and mesh. The roof was given a smooth satin black finish and passengers are greeted with Kahn logo projection undercar lighting. Mesh also covers the hood, fender, and side vents while tough rubber mud flaps are worn behind each wheel and a Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover is featured at the rear.
The new face and muscular stance of the new Land Rover Defender is accentuated by a few other exclusive upgrades as well. The factory wheels were replaced with specially-designed RS Defender wheels in an 8.0 x 18 fitment all around with original center caps and a matching satin black finish. Behind the smooth black wheels are liquid red-painted brake calipers. To make driving even more fun, a Kahn stainless steel cross-hair exhaust system adds a touch of style and acoustic excitement.
The normally straightforward and functional interior in the Land Rover Defender received a luxurious makeover from the team at A Kahn Design. The front and rear seating were replaced with new racing seats with soft black leather and Harris Tweed inserts with silver stitching. A Churchill time clock with red fascia matches the new tachometer and adds a sporty flair with the billet machined leather steering wheel and machined aluminum ventilated foot pedals. The design team also installed new LED lighting in the rear cabin, front and rear floor mats, and a fire extinguisher. All of this new, luxurious style is hidden from prying eyes thanks to dark-tinted privacy glass along the windows.
The new Kahn Defender XS90 2.2 TDCI with Chelsea Truck Company Wide Track is currently available as an entire car. Customers also have the option to design their own Defender model with the featured upgrades and others in a variety of colors, finishes, trims, and more.
