Keep an eye out for Kai!
Over the past few years, we’ve met some great people in the automotive world at different events, shows, and through our vast social media network. One of the standouts has always been Kai Goddard, who has quite an exciting resume and a bright, new future at Inde Motorsports Ranch.
Kai has racing in his blood. His father, Geoff Goddard, enjoyed a fantastic career as a two-time World Superstox Champion and former BMW Touring Car driver. That racing spirit runs in the family genes as Kai has built up quite a resume driving for manufacturers such as Maserati, Spyker, Ferrari, Lexus with the LFA and IS F, Dodge SRT, Cadillac’s V-Series, Audi, Corvette, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Ford, Mazda, Toyota, and other brands for live demonstrations, press reveals, stunts, marketing, and performance driving events.
Kai knows a thing or two about coaching as well. He has taught at the Skip Barber Driving School, SCCA National, Porsche Club of America, BMW Club of America, Chevrolet Rev It Up, Mercedes AMG Challenge, the Jeff Andretti Coaching Group, and his own professional driving company, Kai Goddard Motorsports (KGM).
Kai’s talents and passion for racing have led him to drive in the SCCA Formula Vee, Improved Touring Car, Factory Stocks, Short Track Racing, PBOC Racing and NASA Pro Racing. The challenging USAF 25 Hours of Thunderhill has played host to his racing skills in 2005, 2010, 2011, and 2013, the most recent seeing him drive with the N1 Racing team with the all-new 2014 Lexus IS, marking the automaker’s first factory appearance in American endurance racing since 2009.
That’s quite an impressive career for any driver, however the future is still bright for Kai as he has taken on the role of Lead Professional Driver and Director of Business Development at Inde Motorsports Ranch. The 2.75-mile private raceway sits secluded in the middle of the desert just east of Tuscon, AZ, and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The motorsports resort features on-site lodging accommodations, exotic car rental program, and private runway, and also plays host to six weekend IMR Challenge Series. It’s the perfect place for those looking to drive on a beautiful racetrack and learn how to push their cars to the limit.
