The team at Dream Drives for Kids and Tesla Motors got together to give kids and their families an experience they’ll never forget on March 16th.
Dream Drives for Kids gives sick children and their families the ability to experience their favorite cars with their families and go for a ride. Giving children the opportunity to smile and have fun as they are fighting a tough battle helps to make things just a bit easier and forget about things for a while.
Thankfully, Tesla Motors teamed up with the organization for an event at the Portland International Raceway to give two dozen families the opportunity to experience the otherworldly-acceleration of the 691 horsepower Tesla Model S P85D.
The kids, as you might expect, were overjoyed with the sheer power and speed at which these cars were able to accelerate.
It’s all about the smiles.
