More sport with a bigger boot.
The Mercedes-Benz T-variants offer all of the luxury and dynamics of a sedan with the additional space of an SUV, and doesn’t make you look like that crazy soccer-Mom racing to drop her kids off. The E350 CDI T has been given the KTW Tuning treatment with some Brabus flair, to make it more of an exclusive performer on the road than ever before.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 engine beneath the hood of the E350 CDI T may not be too exciting in stock form, but after KTW Tuning installed the new set of Brabus modifications, it gives drivers a greater thrill at the touch of the throttle. A new Sport Exhaust S 1211 with left-right cutouts from Brabus helps to optimize backpressure and produce a sportier sound. The ECU also benefits from a Brabus ECO PowerXtra D65 tune that bumps output up to a lively 315 horsepower.
KTW also installed a host of exterior upgrades on the Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI T. Up front sits a Brabus logo and a KTW Tuning sports grille along with a more aggressive Brabus front skirt set. New side sill trims with “Double B” logos between a pair of extended Brabus sport fenders lend the wagon a more athletic look. The finishing touch is a Brabus logo placed on the rear trunk lid.
KTW then went back to the Brabus catalog for the chassis where new Monoblock R wheels were installed on both axles. Up front, the wheels measure 8.5 x 19 H2 ET50 with M14 adapter plates and 245/35R19 Pirelli tires, while the rear sports a pair of 9.5 x 19 H2 ET50 wheels with 5 mm adapters and 285/30R19 tires.
Inside are a number of special Brabus upgrades to differentiate the interior from the standard model. The Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI T was outfitted with tinted windows, new door sills, aluminum pedals, and door-lock pins for a more custom feel.
The new Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI T program from KTW Tuning is TÜV-certified and costs 18,999 Euros, including VAT.
