KTW Tuning has had quite a bit of fun with all sorts of German vehicles whether it’s upping the power or adding a touch of style. Their newest project was a pair of five-door BMW 1-Series models in Black or White to suit anyone’s taste in motoring.
The two BMW 116i models may only have 134 horsepower, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fun to drive or can’t be head-turners. The Black and White KTW Tuning BMW 116i are two perfect examples of five-door hatchback fun and feature a nice list of upgrades.
The Black BMW 116i by KTW Tuning has a new set of shoes from Tomason that add a touch of dynamic styling to the compact hatchback. The TN-9 black aluminum alloy wheels measure 8.5 x 20 ET35 at the front and rear axles and equipped with 235/30 ZR20 88Y tires for added grip. Behind the multi-spoke wheels sits red-painted brake calipers to contrast the black paint and add a sporty touch. To complete the new wheel fitment, the entire chassis is lowered thanks to an H&R suspension. In terms of pure styling, the black BMW 116i wears foil-wrapped kidney-bean grille and interior trim along with black-tinted windows.
On the other end of the spectrum sits the white BMW 116i. The white five-door hatchback ironically wears a set of AEZ Antigua Dark Black aluminum alloy wheels with a mesh-style design in the same 8.5 x 20 ET35 setup with 235/30 ZR20 88Y tires and the same red-painted brake calipers peering from behind. The same H&R lowered suspension creates a clean and smooth fitment while also improving the overall handling dynamics of the BMW 1-Series. To contrast the bright white color, KTW Tuning installed a new matte black foiling on the kidney-bean grille, side mirrors, roof, lower front bumper sword, and lower rear bumper insert. Inside, the trim is matched to the vibrant white exterior.
The new Black and White BMW 116i models from KTW Tuning are currently available with the aforementioned upgrades. The Black version can be purchased for 22,999 Euros while the White model is available for 23,599 Euros, both including VAT.
