Celebrating 50 years of V-12 super cars with a limited edition.
It’s hard to believe that 50 years ago, the Lamborghini Miura was making a statement in the automotive world with its V-12 engine and classic styling. It quickly became one of the most iconic Lamborghini models ever made and has become the Godfather of all V-12 Lamborghinis since. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, a total of 50 limited-edition Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage models will be produced.
The new Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage special edition model was created by the brand’s Ad Personam studio and draws upon the original car’s unique array of colors and design. Six of the most notable solid and metallic colors will be available for the upper body with the lower in a contrasting color. Colors such as the Rosso Arancino Miura (solid), Verde Scandal (solid), and Blu Tahiti (metallic) are all available.
The special color scheme is also complemented by metallic Miura badges on the side of the Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage while a black Lamborghini logo is on display at the rear. Staggered 20- and 21-inch Dione wheels wearing a matte silver or gold finish come standard as well to match the lower portion of the super car’s exterior.
Inside, the Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage features a limited edition plaque along with the Miura 50th logo stitched into the seats in gold or silver to match the livery. Special ‘Lamborghini’ lettering is also stitching into the leather dashboard while carbon fiber dominates the trim. Customers can choose from either a full Nero Ade or two-tone Terra Emilia interior color scheme to match their choice of exterior paint schemes.
The same 6.5-liter V-12 engine with 690 bhp and 508 lb-ft. of torque will power each of the 50 Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage models, sending it to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and top a 217 mph top speed.
The Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage model was first shown at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of the brand’s 50th anniversary celebration. Only 50 models will be produced in limited markets around the globe, with most already sold to clients.
