Old-school and new-school tire shredding.
At the Zero-Yon event in Fukukshima, Japan, dozens of iconic super cars gathered to race down an open airfield runway. The event was sponsored by MotorHead magazine, and features cars old and new as they get pushed to their limits down the straightaway.
Some of the cars that showed up included a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS, new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, a couple old, tuned Datsuns, a Top Secret Nissan GT-R, and 600-horsepower Suzuki Hayabusa with nitrous oxide. Some American muscle even made an appearance at the empty runway.
