Let’s Go 202 MPH in the HPE750 Supercharged Camaro SS!

Breaking barriers.

Chevrolet recently unveiled their 640-horsepower, track-focused 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that’s set to take on all sorts of higher-priced competition. For owners that have the Camaro SS, Hennessey Performance has quite the power package in store with their HPE750 Supercharged upgrade that’s capable of reaching 202 mph and arguably besting the ZL1.

The Hennessey Performance HPE750 Camaro SS sees the factory LT1 engine get quite a boost thanks to a new TVS2300 supercharger system churning out 7.0 PSI of boost pressure. The force-fed V-8 also gains new 1.75-inch stainless steel mid-pipe headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and more to reduce backpressure significantly.

The hardware for the LT1 engine was also extensively upgraded in the HPE750 kit. New titanium retainers, extreme duty dual valve springs, lightweight hollow stem intake and exhaust valves, upgraded camshafts, new pushrods, and more all are built to handle and produce more power.

After some serious dyno and road testing, the Hennessey Performance HPE750 Supercharged Camaro SS produces 751 bhp at 6,500 RPM and 643 lb-ft. of torque at 3,800 RPM. That’s good enough to send the muscle car to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and blast through the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds at 129 mph. As seen in the video, it can also break the 200-mph barrier as well.

In the featured video, the prepped HPE750 Camaro was also outfitted with a 150-horsepower Nitrous system… just in case.
