The VW Group face off!
In case you didn’t know, the Volkswagen Group owns a whole lot of automakers including Audi and Lamborghini. That new Huracan LP 610-4 over there is actually riding on the same platform as the Audi R8. So, they’re virtually the same cars underneath despite the fact that different automakers build them.
With that being said, there are numerous differences inside and out between the two super cars. But, the folks at TopGear Polska wanted to see if the Audi R8 V10 Plus was faster or slower than the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, so they lined them up for a drag race.
Both vehicles had virtually identical numbers. Both 5.2-liter V-10s produce 602 horsepower and use dual-clutch transmissions to change gears. The Huracan, however, comes in at 3,125 lbs. while the Audi is a bit porkier at 3.205 lbs.
So who’s faster? It comes down to a photo finish.
