IS-F Meets ISS
The Lexus IS-F is already a well-built performance car from the factory. ISS however has given the bad boy a wider footprint and much nicer shoes. Back in my retail days when I would fit wheels on vehicles, I would practice a simple principle: Perfect Form + Perfect Fit + Purpose = Perfect Fitment (of course, there were always those clients that went against recommendations and wanted spinners on a Maxima – and trust me, they’d end up with spinners).
The perfect form was established with the recently introduced OneForged 01. The five-spoke design of the OneForged 01 made a perfect aesthetic match to the curves of the IS-F, while the Titanium Pearl finish nicely complimented the factory Matador Red Mica.
The perfect fit was accomplished with 20 x 8.5 fronts matched with 245/30/20s, while the rear fitment staggered with 20 x 10s matched with 285/25/20 Vredestein Sessanta Tires.
With track in mind, the purpose of the fitment was to achieve a lighter weight and bigger footprint. The overall weight was reduced by two pounds, and the footprint was increased by 0.79 inches in the front and 1.18 inches in the rear.

On a recent visit to the One Mile Run track day the IS-F maxed out the rev limiter at a top speed of 167.62mph. The ISS team plans on breaking the 170mph mark during their next track visit.
