There’s insanity inside.
The Audi RS 4 sounds pretty exciting with the stock exhaust setup. It’s high-revving, 4.2-liter V-8 engine invites drivers to have a bit of fun and use all 450 horsepower to spin all four wheels. However, things start to get really exciting once you start tinkering with the exhaust system.
One Audi RS 4 Avant owner decided to take off all the fancy catalytic converters, mufflers, and restrictive insides of the factory exhaust and install a straight-pipe, unrestricted exhaust to let the 4.2-liter sing freely. It sounds absolutely fantastic, and thankfully the owner took it through a tunnel to let the sounds of the eight-cylinder echo and create an evil melody of automotive tune.
