The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has impressed us and the rest of the automotive world from the first time it stepped onto the stage at the Detroit International Auto Show in 2013. Since then, there have been many new upgrade programs and modifications made for America’s sports car.
And now there’s the unholy turbocharged Corvette Stingray that sounds like some sort of ferocious mechanical monster. The rear-mounted turbocharged Corvette and its 6.2-liter V-8 sound like they’re hungry. And they eat people. And gasoline. What starts as a baritone growl grows into a thundering roar followed by the high-speed vortex of sound produced by the turbocharger as it devours air. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
