Making a statement with the new German sports car.
The Mercedes-AMG GT / GT S is the latest sports car to come out of Germany and its twin-turbocharged V-8 engine is chewing up the asphalt. It’s sleek, curvaceous styling is also grabbing all sorts of attention, and Loma is showcasing their forged wheels on this head-turner.
The 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine beneath the hood of the Mercedes-AMG GT S produces 503 horsepower and 480 lb-ft. of torque, which is good for a 3.7-second 0-60 mph acceleration time. That’s quite a bit of power and performance packed into one car, and isn’t always easy to handle for your average wheel.
So, Loma Wheels decided to give the German beast a new set of their GT1 Superlight forged wheels. The lightweight aluminum alloy wheels were fitted in a 9.0J x 20 front and 11.0J x 21 rear staggered setup that emphasizes the rear-wheel drive power and performance of the Mercedes-AMG GT S. New 265/30 ZR20 (94Y) front and 305/20 ZR21 (98Y) tires grip the road with ease and are filled using invisible valves.
The featured dark metallic grey Mercedes-AMG GT S wears the new Loma concave GT1 Superlight forged wheels with a dark piano black outer lip and dark titanium face with exposed hardware for a mechanical and powerful look. To complete the new stance, the entire sports car was lowered by 30 mm for a clean stance.
Although the Mercedes-AMG GT S only wears a set of Loma GT1 Superlight wheels currently, new carbon fiber parts inside and out are planned along with a new valve-controlled exhaust system.
The new Loma Wheels are currently available for customers with a range of sizes and finishes.
