Thirty years ago, Manhart Performance began taking vehicles to the next level of performance. Today, they’re still putting their experience and expertise to work. As a part of their 30th anniversary celebration, they have unveiled the MINI F300 upgrade program based on the F56 MINI John Cooper Works. Everything inside and out has been upgraded to ensure the looks match the performance.
The new 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine holds a bit of potential that is just waiting to be tapped into. The Manhart Performance MINI F300 includes a new software tune and new Wagner intercooler. A Remus stainless steel sports exhaust boasts a larger downpipe and integrated valve controls that reduce backpressure and provides a more intoxicating note. After the goodies, the hot hatch produces 300 horsepower and 347 lb-ft. of torque.
That added power is quite a bit to handle for such a small, front-wheel-drive car. So Manhart Performance installed a new carbon fiber front strut tower brace to stiffen things up a bit and cut down on torque steer. A new KW Variant 3 adjustable coilover suspension was also installed that allows for height, bound, and rebound to be individually adjusted.
Along with the new Manhart Performance gold decals across the British Racing Green paint on the MINI F300, matching gold-painted Manhart Performance alloy wheels were also fitted to grab attention and pavement. The 8.0 x 19 multispoke wheels are shod in 235/35 ZR19 tires and boost the handling dynamics a bit further.
Things go from performance to style inside the Manhart Performance MINI F300. Here, the front and rear seats wear soft anthracite leather with gold stitching and alcantara inserts with gold cross stitching. The steering wheel is wrapped in alcantara and features a 12 o’clock marker similar to those found in race cars. Beneath the beltline sits a new set of velour floor mats with Manhart logos for that extra touch of luxury.
The new Manhart Performance MINI F300 is currently available as a complete upgrade package or customers can opt for individual accessories if they desire. Pricing has not been released.
