Going green with carbon fiber.
Mansory is going green through the use of a lightweight, woven black fiber with the Tesla Model S. Their new upgrade program focuses on cutting weight and slicing air with a new carbon fiber aerodynamic package, new wheels, and some added luxury.
Mansory utilized their special carbon fiber autoclave construction process that bakes and hardens carbon fiber sheets in molds using intense heat and pressure for a lightweight, strong, and precise build quality. Each part was designed to seamlessly flow into the factory body work for a clean, OEM-like fitment.
The sleek and modern design of the Tesla Model S was enhanced by the new Mansory kit. The new front apron with integrated LED lights is more aggressive and aerodynamically-optimized to generate downforce. New side skirts help to send air away from the rear wheels while a new rear spoiler generates a bit of downforce for better stability. Below the carbon fiber trunk spoiler is a new apron with diffuser insert that creates a clean and functional look. According to Mansory, the new components improve the acceleration, braking, and energy consumption of the Model S over the factory variant.
Mansory also gave the Tesla Model S a new set of their in-house M10 alloy wheels. The Mansory M10 wheels feature a more technical design, which fits in perfectly with the Model S. Each wheel measures 10.0 x 22 and wears 295/25 R22 tires.
Inside, Mansory took a few extra steps to create a more exclusive atmosphere. Passengers are greeted by new illuminated door entry sills while the driver benefits from a new sports steering wheel and aluminum pedals.
The new Mansory Tesla Model S might not have a traditional combustion engine but it definitely has an explosive presence.
