Wide, winged, and wicked.
Mansory made quite a statement with their widebody Mercedes-AMG GT S at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, and now they’ve taken it one step further for one lucky owner. Their latest widebody, winged creation is a one-off model and packs quite a punch.
The Mansory one-off Mercedes-AMG GT S features a modified 4.0-liter, hand-built, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine. Larger turbochargers, a sports air filter, stainless steel exhaust, and software ECU tune increases output for the German super car to 730 PS (720 horsepower). Armed with the added power, the one-off Mercedes-AMG GT S can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 205 mph.
While the power is intoxicating, this Mansory Mercedes-AMG GT S sports some seriously seductive body work. The entire super car benefits from a full widebody kit that significantly extends both front and rear fenders, complete with matching side skirts and air vents for an athletic stance. The lightweight carbon fiber kit also includes a new front fascia with spoiler and splitter combo, ventilated hood, as well as a new grille displaying the Mansory logo. The most dramatic change compared to the model presented in Geneva is the massive rear wing spoiler that looks as if it was taken off a GT3-spec racer. Below, a carbon fiber diffuser setup helps keep that butt stuck to the road. Each visible carbon fiber part is colored ruby red as per the request of the owner, Bandar.
The dynamic look of the widebody one-off Mansory Mercedes-AMG GT S is finished off with a new set of center-locking lightweight forged wheels form the German brand. The lightweight center-locking wheels keep weight to a minimum for better overall performance and are named “7spoke” for their clean, seven-spoke design. Up front, the new forged wheels measure 9.5 x 21 with 245/35 ZR21 tires while the rear comes in with a bigger 10.5 x 21 size and 305/25 ZR21 tires. Bringing the new shoes closer to the wider body is a set of chassis springs that reduce ride height.
The high-end tastes of the car’s owner can be seen throughout the cockpit. Here, Mansory gave the Mercedes-AMG GT S a specially-designed sports steering wheel with carbon inlay and new sports pedals for better driving engagement. Just about every furnishing was handcrafted in leather and Mansory carbon fabric with embroidered logos for an attention-to-detail that is second-to-none. Completing the redesign are new illuminated door sills to greet driver and passenger.
Unfortunately, this Mansory Mercedes-AMG GT S was created as a one-off model for one lucky customer, and won’t be available to the public.
