Carbon fiber opulence.
The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² was built for high-performance off-roading from its three-differential drivetrain and its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 to its 410 mm ground clearance and flared fenders. It’s a boxy terrain-terrorizing beast with comfort on the inside. Mansory, however, has given it the exclusive touch with a wide array of carbon fiber, more power, and a custom-tailored cabin.
Visually, the boxy beast is clad in sky blue and carbon fiber throughout the exterior. Up front, the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² sees a new carbon fiber spoiler and LED headlights installed with LED daytime running lights and carbon fiber grille and headlight surrounds. The naked carbon fiber hood features air outlets and intakes to keep the 4.0-liter engine cool, while carbon fiber side mirrors, door handles, trim, and fender extensions also wear the lightweight material.
Mansory even went as far as to give the roof of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² a coat of carbon fiber. This continues at the rear with a new spoiler for some added downforce as well. Both the rear apron and its corresponding panels were redesigned for a more utilitarian, purposeful look.
Backing up the more athletic, new looks is a tuned version of the hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine under the carbon fiber hood. Mansory was able to squeeze out an additional 63 PS and 74 lb-ft. of torque from the in-house Powerbox tuning module and sport exhaust system. This results in a total output of 479 horsepower and 524 lb-ft. of torque for the off-road beast.
The lavish styling seen throughout the exterior continues inside, where new steps, nicknamed the ‘stairway to heaven’, automatically deploy for easier entry and exit. The cabin features handcrafted furnishings such as leather that’s custom stitched in a variety of patterns, finished off by new Mansory logos. A redesigned command control center sits front-and-center while a new sports steering wheel with carbon inlay, and new aluminum foot pedals gives drivers greater control.
The new Mansory Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² is currently available with all of the featured upgrades. Pricing has not been released.
