The striking 4×4 conversion program arrives just in time to celebrate Range Rover’s 40th anniversary.
As the British SUV celebrates 40 years of four-wheel drive success, Mansory has decided to join the party with an impressive personalization program. While the Swiss-branch of Mansory toned down the design for their last program with the BMW X5, they’ve gone back to their roots with the Range Rover Sport. The latest conversion package is without question a true Mansory product, with in-your-face looks, an elaborate interior, and the horsepower to back it all up.
For the current Range Rover Sport, Mansory decided to accentuate the boxy design with PU-RIM plastic and carbon fiber components. Up front, the Range Rover Sport is transformed into an obtrusive and powerful sport SUV with the addition of a new front bumper with gaping air intakes, and integrated LEDs. Complimenting the bold face is a new carbon fiber hood with a large power dome and functional air intake to cool the engine.
The rest of the Mansory Range Rover Sport wears bodywork that is rather subtle in comparison to the front. The most noticeable aspect is the widened front and rear fenders that are connected by aerodynamic carbon fiber side skirts. This adds 60 mm to the front and 80 mm to the rear track, giving the Range Rover Sport an athletic stance. Modifications to the rear add to this concept, with a carbon fiber rear diffuser and roof spoiler, hinting at the SUV’s capabilities.
To complete the appearance package, Mansory has added a new set of wheels and tires along with an improved suspension. The broader front and rear track allows the Swiss tuner to fit wider 23-inch wheels with 315/25 R23 performance tires for added grip. The large wheels feature a double-spoke design that highlights the boxy design of the Range Rover Sport. Improving the center of gravity and overall aesthetics is a new air suspension module has been installed that lowers the SUV by up to 30 mm.
Supporting the intense bodywork are engine upgrades for all of the diesel and gasoline variants. Whether it is the 246-horsepwer turbodiesel V-6, the 268-horsepower turbodiesel V-8, 375 horsepower V-8, or the 510-horsepower V-8, Mansory will install a sport exhaust system, sport air filters, and retuned ECU for approximately 30 additional horsepower and 30 lb-ft. of torque for each engine.
Inside the Range Rover Sport, Mansory shows off what the private upholstery services are capable of. For a more engaging driving experience, Mansory has fitted a new sports steering wheel that retains the functions of the stock model, and aluminum pedals. Almost any surface can be covered in custom leather, with unique wood and carbon fiber options available for the dash and trim. Supple leather seats provide outstanding comfort and support, and are available in a number of different colors and stitching options. The interior is completed with a Mansory Switzerland logo on each seat and floor mat.
The complete tuning package is currently available from Mansory’s Swiss division. No pricing has been released.
