There’s nothing like a Rolls Royce and nothing comes close to the drop-top cruising experience as the Dawn. Well, nothing except the Mansory Rolls Royce Dawn, that is. The German company designed a full OEM-quality upgrade package that builds upon the rich luxury motoring experience that only Rolls Royce can deliver with a sporty yet elegant touch.
The refinements begin under the hood of the Rolls Royce Dawn, where the 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V-12 engine gains a full Mansory upgrade package. Here, the engine performance grows to a muscular wall of 740 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 738 lb-ft. of torque from 1,500 to 5,500 RPM. That sends the smooth land yacht to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds while top speed extends to 177 mph.
Although the added performance can easily put a smile on any driver’s face, it’s all about the ride and the style. Mansory’s designers created a subtle visual package that gives the ultra-luxury convertible a clean yet confident appearance made from carbon fiber.
The new body work starts with the front fascia where Mansory gave the Rolls Royce Dawn a new spoiler lip along with larger air intakes that feature vertical slats or mesh. The hood is also made from lightweight carbon fiber to shed a few extra pounds while still retaining the classic brushed aluminum look. Adding to the sleek profile of the convertible are new side skirts that also work to calm the airflow as it moves towards the rear wheels. Here, at the rear fascia, the Rolls Royce Dawn received a subtle spoiler lip on the trunk lid to generate downforce at higher speeds for greater stability.
Completing the visual transformation are new Mansory V6 wheels. The aluminum alloys feature a unique “V” double-spoke design that matches the elegance of the Rolls Royce Dawn while keeping weight to a minimum. Here, the Mansory V6 wheels are fitted in a commanding 22-inch diameter with 265/35/22 front and 295/30/22 Vredestein ultra-high-performance tires for everlasting grip.
Of course, the already extravagant handcrafted interior can get the extra-special touch from Mansory as well. The in-house craftsmen can add brushed aluminum, carbon fiber, burl wood, high-polished piano lacquer, or other materials to customer specification along with tailored leather and upholstery. Even the floor mats and head rests get the handcrafted embroidery treatment for that personal touch.
