The BMW 335i Touring is easily one of the most practical and fun versions of the 3-Series that you could buy, short of the German automaker creating an M3 wagon. The wagon offers lots of luggage space, sporty dynamics, and a powerful engine that makes it a complete package. The team at MB Individual Cars wanted to make the 335i Touring (E91) even better and did so with their newest upgrade program.
The project started out as a sapphire black metallic BMW 335i Touring and ended up as a two-tone superwagon. The turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine was equipped with a piper cross air filter, middle muffler, and dual 90mm black-painted tailpipes. These, combined with some good old fashioned software tuning equates to an impressive 400 horsepower output.
The MB Individual Cars BMW 335i Touring looks the part of a powerful wonder wagon too. The front fascia is more dynamic thanks to a special MB 1-Series M front bumper with enlarged air intakes and flics along each side for better aerodynamic efficiency. A new LCI hood adds sculpted contours while M side sills, E90 M3 side mirrors, and the M rear bumper with performance rear diffuser add to the sporty look of the 335i Touring. Even the lighting is special. MB Individual Cars added a new set of Blackline tinted rear taillights and white LED lamps for angel eyes for a more commanding presence. All of the new body work and styling was wrapped in a two-tone foil that starts out as gloss blue metallic up front that changes to matte blue metallic as it runs towards the rear. All of the windows behind the B-pillar are also tinted.
Dynamics was one aspect that the team at MB Individual Cars wanted to improve upon even more with the E91 BMW 335i Touring. The German tuners added a new set of Impatto rims from Diewe Wheels that reduce weight at the wheel hub and feature a concave spoke design. The wheels were installed in a wide 9.0 x 20 ET32 front and 9.5 x 20 ET20 rear setup with Hankook EVO S1 235/30 ZR20 and 265/25 ZR20 tires. The fitment was completed by a new set of front H&R spacers that required the front fenders to be extended, and a new set of AP coilovers that lower the overall ride height. The final touch is a set of black-painted calipers to match the finish of the Impatto wheels.
All of the upgrades featured on the MB Individual Cars BMW 335i Touring (E91) are all available for those looking to upgrade their E9X-generation BMW 3-Series models. Pricing for the upgrades has not been released.
