All the power for any terrain.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class might be designed for off-road duties, but its wealthy owners have turned most of them into shopping mall queens. That’s not the case with the McChip-DKR MC800. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG has been transformed into a monster that rules over any terrain and punishes it with brute force.
McChip-DKR is known for their software tuning for engines in all sorts of vehicle applications and their worked their magic once again with the 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 in the G63 AMG. Here, the German madmen installed their Stage 4 software tune along with a new pair of turbochargers, piping, and sport catalytic converters. That pushes output all the way up to 810 horsepower and 701 lb-ft. of torque for the mighty four-wheel drive SUV.
But that was only part of the McChip-DKR MC800 conversion for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. The German tuner wanted to make the SUV even more proficient while going off the beaten path so they added on a new set of axles that add 15 cm of ground clearance and 12 cm of width on each side. Pushing aside the dirt, mud, rock, and anything else that dares to sit in its path are Beadlock wheels measuring 18 inches in diameter with beefy 37/15.2 R18 tires.
Behind those brawny wheels sits a new KW DDC chassis that has been designed specifically for this application. McChip-DKR then finished it all off with a set of Movit brakes on the front and rear axle for superb stopping power.
The new McChip-DKR MC800 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG isn’t an asphalt cruiser, it’s a pure off-road brute armed with a twin-turbo hammer.
