Live from New York!
Over the past few years, McLaren Automotive has grown its model range extensively and made quite the stir in the sports car world. Their new three-series model layout starts with the Sports Series, and the first model in that series will be unveiled at the 2015 New York International Auto Show on April 1st.
The newest member of the McLaren Sports Series range is the 570S Coupe. The new sports car – just like the rest of the Sports Series vehicles – will be positioned beneath the McLaren Ultimate Series and Super Series. It also marks the first time that the British automaker has injected its motorsports technology into the segment, making for quite the enticing option for prospective customers.
The new McLaren 570S Coupe draws its name from its power output (in metric horsepower). The V-8 powerplant will develop 570 PS (562 horsepower) and offer a superb balance of driving dynamics and handling performance.
Much of the McLaren 570S Coupe is designed to take advantage of aerodynamics. While only a small photograph of the car has been released, it sports a flying buttress design that generates downforce and fine tunes aerodynamics.
The new McLaren 570S Coupe will be unveiled at the 115th New York International Auto Show at 2:55 PM (EST) at Stand 704, Level 3.
