Shoo away that case of the Mondays with some V-12 noise.
If you’re having one of those Mondays that just seemed to drag on forever and never end, we have something that will cheer you up, guaranteed. It involves an Italian hypercar, a German V-12, some turbochargers, and lots of burning rubber.
Pagani’s test driver, Davide Testi, put the pedal to the metal at the Monza race track behind the golden matte grey Pagani press/test vehicle known as “Prototype 5”.
It’s twin-turbocharged, 6.0-liter Mercedes-Benz V-12 engine was tuned specifically for the Italian supercar to reduce throttle lag and produce 720 bhp and 740 lb-ft. of torque, rocketing the lightweight Huayra to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and to a top speed of 230 mph.
This video is all about fun as there’s pretty exhaust sounds, spooling turbos, burning rubber, and launch control as the Pagani drives around looking down on all the other sports cars that it passes.
