How many more days until the 24 Hours of Le Mans?
Seriously, we cannot wait to see the newest version of the Audi R8 E-Tron Quattro race in the LMP1 category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The past decade has seen Audi just dominate the endurance race and now it looks as if it’s going to continue its domination with the R18 E-Tron Quattro Long-Tail.
This isn’t just a tail. The added bodywork and aerodynamics added onto the already fast R18 E-Tron Quattro has made it even faster. Shown here in testing, the racer was flying past turns at 330 km/h (205 mph)! That’s seriously fast, and according to the person who filmed the video, the car would be capable of running at speeds of 340 km/h (211 mph) through those turns.
