Wider, faster, and just better.
Novitec Rosso has been working pretty extensively with the turbocharged Ferrari California T drop-top super car. Their first upgrade program added more power and a bit of style, but now they’ve taken it to the max with their new N-Largo Ferrari California T upgrade program.
Following on the heels of the Novitec Rosso N-Largo F12Berlinetta, the new N-Largo California T is a carbon fiber widebody monster with an engine turned up to 11. The new widebody kit was developed alongside Vittorio Strosek, who designed numerous widebody vehicles in the 1980s. The entire kit was honed in a wind tunnel as well to ensure maximum aerodynamic efficiency in terms of downforce, cooling, and drag.
The factory Ferrari California T may be looked at as more of a cruiser, but Novitec Rosso quickly changes that with the N-Largo kit. The aggressive looks begin up front where a new bumper was added to accommodate the extended fenders, and paired up with bigger air intakes, a central spoiler, and carbon fiber radiator grille and hood vents. The front axle gains a healthy six centimeters in width thanks to new fenders with integrated air outlets to help cool the brakes. Side sills connect them to the rear fenders and direct air into the massive fender intakes. Here, an extra 11 centimeters were added for a sexy hourglass figure.
The rear of the Novitec Rosso N-Largo Ferrari California T was finished off with a new one-piece rear bumper with integrated diffuser. On top of the trunk, customers can opt for an aerofoil or a subtle spoiler to generate downforce and improve stability. Carbon fiber is also used on the side mirrors, roof, taillight surrounds, and roof skin, while black side markers can also be added for a touch of contrast.
The wider, more aggressive fenders on the Novitec Rosso N-Largo California T house a wide set of staggered wheels. In-house N-Largo NF5 NL concave five double-spoke wheels offer up a larger footprint and more control. Up front, the new forged wheels measure 9.0j x 21 while the rear comes in with a massive 12.0J x 22 size. High-performance 255/30 ZR21 and 315/25 ZR22 Pirelli PZero high-performance tires were chosen to stick to the asphalt. A new set of Novitec Rosso sport springs reduce the ride height and center of gravity by 35 mm. Although this can cause some problems with speed bumps and ramps, a Novitec Rosso hydraulic front-end lift system is available to save the day by raising the height by 40 mm at the push of a button.
The boost in looks also comes with a thundering amount of power with the Novitec Rosso N-Largo Ferrari California T. The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 engine was equipped not one, but TWO Novitec Rosso N-Tronic modules with special software mapping as well as a new stainless steel exhaust system. This results in an incredible 668 horsepower at 7,400 RPM and 642 lb-ft. of torque at 4,750 RPM. This allows the convertible to reach 62 mph in 3.2 seconds from rest and hit a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
Inside, customers of the Novitec Rosso N-Largo Ferrari California T can be given a wide range of special leather, alcantara, trims, and other upgrades from the in-house craftsmen.
The new Novitec Rosso N-Largo Ferrari California T is currently available as an entire package. Of course, individual accessories can be added separately.
