All the right stuff.
The Lamborghini Huracán had some big shoes to fill when it replaced the most successful model from the Italian automaker to-date in the Gallardo. So far, the mid-engined super car is pushing through in terms of sales and performance, and aftermarket companies like Novitec Torado are taking full advantage with new upgrade programs.
The new Novitec Torado Lamborghini Huracán has all the right stuff in all the right places from lightweight carbon fiber aerodynamics to tailored chassis upgrades, and lightweight high-performance exhausts.
The classic wedge-shaped look of the Lamborghini Huracán is taken to the next level both visually and aerodynamically by Novitec Torado. The full aero kit was tested in the wind tunnel to create a setup that produced more downforce and better cooling without creating drag.
The front fascia of the Huracán gains a new spoiler, central blade, and side flaps that improve airflow and reduce lift, while a new trunk lid with integrated air duct sits above. New rocker panels extend outwards and capture air that goes into the side air intakes for the brakes while the engine is fed by new air intakes on the windows. Carbon fiber side mirrors add a touch of athleticism along with the dual hood scoops and custom-tailored carbon fiber engine cover. At the rear, a large spoiler and diffuser combo keep that Italian butt planted to the asphalt, and carbon fiber taillight surrounds add a sleeker look. Customers that want a less in-your-face appearance can opt for a smaller lip spoiler instead.
Beneath the mighty fenders of the Lamborghini Huracán lies a custom-tailored suspension from Novitec Torado. The new three-piece, NF1 forged wheels with five double-spoke design and carbon-coated outer flanges help to keep weight to a minimum. Up front, the forged alloys measure 9.0J x 20 with sticky 245/30 ZR20 Pirelli P Zero tires while the rear comes in at a staggered 12.5J x 21 setup with 325/25 ZR21 tires. The new Novitec Torado suspension springs that reduce height by 35 mm were also tailored to the new wheel setup. For those that want even more control and athleticism, they can opt for the height-adjustable coilover suspension that is nearing the end of development.
As with all super cars, performance is what sets the Huracán in a league of its own. The 5.2-liter, naturally-aspirated V-10 of joy can be paired up with a range of Novitec Torado sports exhaust systems. The pinnacle of which is the lightweight INCONEL exhaust with remote-controlled butterfly valve and lightweight sport catalytic converters to optimize backpressure and sound. Customers can also buy stainless steel versions without the valves as well.
Inside, customers can custom-tailor virtually every aspect of the cockpit from leather and alcantara to new trim pieces.
The new Novitec Torado Lamborghini Huracán upgrade program is currently available as a complete package or as individual accessories.
